Chicken a La King Parmesano Recipe
A variation of chicken a la king that tastes like a gourmet meal.
Chicken a La King Parmesano
2 cubes margarine.
3/4 pound whole mushrooms.
1 red bell pepper.
1 1/2 cups flour.
1/2 teaspoon salt.
1/4 teaspoon pepper.
2 fourteen ounce cans chicken broth.
1 quart heavy whipping cream.
1 teaspoon lemon juice.
1 teaspoon lime juice.
1/2 cup cooking sherry.
1 eight ounce can of sliced water chestnuts.
1 eight ounce can of strip bamboo shoots.
1 fifteen ounce can of cut baby corn.
5 cups cooked and deboned chicken thighs.
1 five ounce package shredded parmesan cheese.
Clean and dice bell pepper. Clean and chop onion. Heat bell pepper, onion, and
whole mushrooms in a dish in microwave until tender.
Melt 2 cubes margarine in a pan. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Slowly mix
cream and chicken broth. Bring to boil over low heat and cook for 5 minutes
Mix ingredents in dish, and pan together. Add lemon juice, lime juice, cooking
water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, baby corn, and chicken. Cook in pan over stove
for 5 minutes stirring constantly.
Serve over a bed of rice. Top with fresh shredded parmesan cheese. (optional)
