Blue Ribbon Chocolate Cake Recipe

Chocolate Cake

2 cups flour.
2 cups sugar.
1/2 teaspoon salt.
1 cup water.
2 cubes margarine.
4 tablespoons cocoa.
2 eggs.
1/2 cup sour cream.
1 teaspoon baking soda.

Heat 2 cubes of margarine in small pan over stove until melted.
Mix in 4 tablespoons of cocoa. Pour in 1 cup of water. Heat until
boiling. Remove from heat.

In a large mixing bowl sift flour, sugar, and salt. Beat in cocoa
mixture from pan. Add 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon baking soda. Mix well.
Fold in 1/2 cup of sour cream.

Pour into 13x9 inch pan that has been greased and coated with cocoa.
Bake in 400 oven for about twenty to thirty minutes or until toothpick
comes out almost clean. Needs no frosting.
